Dev Log #3
The teams goals for this week was to try and get the character design ready and make the switches work. The group worked well in getting the goals done for the game and we were able to get the character done thanks to Kevin for doing a great job. The process has been getting difficult as of late, so much has happened due to outside things out of our control but we have been trying to do our best to keep up with these assignments. Our goals will be to get the game running and a level complete within the next 2 weeks. We will go about accomplishing these goals by working hard and each person having a set amount of goals into doing these things.
Playtest reports
We were playtesting the game today and trying to test for collisions on switches. The switch placed in game can now change color and turn red and green, green being collision and red being no collision. We wanted to learn on how to make the switches change color which we learned on how to do with trial and error. The playtesters were Me, Chris and Kevin. We observed that now colliding with the switch, switches the color and we're gonna try and make the light disappear when colliding with the switch. The feedback is to now make the light disappear with the switch. We will take the feedback given to improve the game.
